Resumen salidas profesionales
In an era of constantly evolving infrastructure, the "Civil Engineering Structural Calculation" course provides essential knowledge in structural design and calculation. This online training delves into linear elements and structures commonly used in civil engineering, such as pre-stressed concrete beams and underpasses, providing competencies to address their sizing and resistance. It also explores the construction and behavior of concrete and metallic tanks, indispensable in multiple sectors. Ideal for those who wish to develop a rigorous and applicable understanding of key structural elements.
The purpose of this course is for the student to acquire the necessary knowledge of the fundamentals of civil engineering structural design and calculation applicable to structures made of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and structural steel.
Two learning paths will be established throughout this program: on the one hand, linear elements in civil engineering such as prestressed concrete beams, underpasses, and sheets (vaults), and on the other, the student will be introduced to a fundamental and necessary field in civil engineering: deposits. In the case of the design of prestressed concrete beams, the different types of prestressing forces and losses will be studied, as well as their associated advantage over reinforced concrete beams. Regarding the design of road underpasses, the different types of loads acting on them will be analyzed, as well as sheets, their structural behavior, and the necessary elements for the different types to be used. Finally, the calculation of deposits, which makes many structural technicians shy away, will be studied since they are widespread and in demand in building construction, agriculture, and industry, and are in turn fundamental for human supply as well as for supplying infrastructure firefighting networks. At the end of the course, the student is expected to face the challenge of designing, dimensioning, and calculating structural elements involved in civil works, and dimensioning both sections of reinforced concrete and steel, and prestressed concrete.
Graduates of the "Civil Engineering Structural Calculation" course can specialize in the design and calculation of pre-stressed concrete structures, underpasses, and underground works, as well as concrete and metallic tanks. They are prepared for engineering roles in consulting firms, construction companies, and infrastructure management entities, tackling technical challenges with a solid theoretical and practical foundation.
The "Civil Engineering Structural Calculation" course equips you to address the design and calculation of key structural elements in civil works. You will learn about pre-stressed concrete beams, underpasses, and tanks, both concrete and metallic, mastering relevant structural loads and behaviors. Practical skills will be provided for the correct dimensioning of structures in concrete and steel.
